Road Closure: 62nd between Dixie and 18th

Despite promising the construction of the new school building would not impact traffic, it seems that Broward County is requiring Pine Crest to close 62nd for two weeks. Pine Crest asked us to inform the community as the county does not believe it is required to do so. The closure will facilitate the extension of turn lanes and sewer pipes (why anyone thought theses could happen WITHOUT closing the street is beyond me).

I did not see any detour signs or indications of road closure this morning, but that does not mean those signs won't go up later today.
