If you haven't yet heard about the growing problem with walk-in pain management clinics (affectionately referred to as "Pill Mills") this recent article from Time seems to sum it up well, including quotes from all the major local players. At the last home owners general meeting, Vice Mayor Bruce Roberts noted that the mills were a growing concern for the city and that efforts were being made, legislatively, to curtail their growth. There are a half dozen or so pill mills within a few miles of Imperial Point, might be worth mapping them out in a future post.The movements seems to have suffered a bit of a setback this weekend, as an effort to limit the mills ability to prescribe multi-week dosages failed.
